Ratings and reviews

I like the colors, but I have to uninstall because the top row is hard to tap on. I often have to tap three or four times to select a circle, and when playing a game that has a logical focus, it can sometimes disrupt my process and allow me to forget the next few steps I was going to take. I also don't like that I can't disable all of the features. It's nice to have row highlighting and so on, but having all colors swap back and forth can be distracting, and I'd like to just have plain sudoku.

This was a 5 star, but I knocked a couple off because of hyper aggressive ads. They popup in the middle of games. I can handle the ones between games, and vaguely tolerate the ones after I wake the screen up, but this? Come on. Nix these ads, they're more annoying and make me not want to play. Beyond the ads, the gameplay is great. There's no sense of urgency, no stupid gems or hearts I have to keep up. Just chill. Until the ad.

As far as I understand the rules to sudoku, you're not allowed to have duplicate numbers in row, column, or box. However, this app seems to think otherwise when it comes to the box rule. If it weren't for this major flaw, I would easily give this game a 10/10. It's cute, simple, and has a lot of nice features other apps do not. Bummer. 😖
