You've got all kinds of translations in this. Pretty impressive options and even clever game play that has you learning without realizing it. Slow and steady progress is easily kept track of and even encouraged to do even a little bit every day. I've been using this game/app since it's beginning, on different accounts and various phones through the years and it has always been one of the best free options out there. But it's slowly developed a pay wall, sadly, meaning I guess my learning is ovr

I get the point of wanting people to pay. I've been here for years. It started off so well and then the last few years they got really money grabby imo. I remember it being free with maybe an occasional ad. Now I have lot's of ads which I'm totally fine with. However, messing up 5 times and not being able to complete even 1 lesson defeats the enter purpose of learning newer content in a language! This kills progression and makes learning all the more difficult.

Duolingo seems very repetitious in the beginning but gives you a good foundation for what's ahead. Later it sometimes includes a new word with no introduction but soon it surprisingly is made clear. This gives you the joy of discovery! It's so much fun! Before I started Duolingo, I had been struggling to learn Spanish but this method changed that. It's very effective, quick, and fun! I'm grateful to have found it!
