The DW mobile viewer for VMAX Plus™ NVR/DVR is a free app that allows users to connect, view, playback, and search Digital Watchdog’s video surveillance solutions anywhere, anytime.
The new remote viewer with a user-friendly Graphic User Interface allows remote control of Digital Watchdog’s new VMAX Plus™ NVR/DVR.

Digital Watchdog’s Remote Surveillance App supports smart phones and tablets running the following Android operating system or higher: Android™ Froyo (Ver 2.2) or higher.

- Pathfinder™ Easy Port Forwarding
Setup your NVR on the mobile app by a simple QR code scan from your NVR's monitor. The app will automatically enter the NVR's information and save it, without the need for extensive or complicated port forwarding.


- Live Monitoring
Single and multi-channel live monitoring with High Resolution image as well as pinch-to-zoom and PTZ control function offer you details, clarity and control options.
- Playback and Search Mode
Various search modes (Date/Time,event) as well as playback speed control lets you save your time to find recorded data you want to check.

Ratings and reviews

Rarely works. DW system always needs updating and in turn relinking to the app. You can't do that remotely. Also when I do try to adjust settings on the app remotely yo match a user on site it always changes my port from 9010 which works to 10000 which does not. Very frustrating....

My original DVR's hard drive crashed and it was replaced by our newer version. The app constantly crashes on my phone and I can't always access the cameras. There is something wrong with this app. It is not my phone I am a certified computer technician with over 20 years of experience, so I keep my equipment current and up-to-date. You guys really need to fix your cracked issues expediently.

Like the fact that I can check out my cameras where ever I am, as long as I have a cell connection or on wifi, always connects. I do notice that I need to periodically check for system updates. As for play back I only do that at the DVR, some systems are better than others but for me I like the Vmax A1Plus.
