Couldn't pay at the charger itself, but that's common across all brands. I downloaded the app, it's buggy. I got to the end of 2 different journeys and there was no loop back to the home screen or anything.. I had to force restart the app to get back to a different page. Then I got the payment set up, the car plugged in, the app showed that charging started but my car didn't. It wouldn't connect after 3 attempts. I had to leave and go elsewhere.

The charger itself seems to work OK. But the software works poorly and has gotten successively worse since I started using a few years ago. Problems connecting. Problems reconnecting after power fail. Gobs of inexplicable error messages. App is ambiguous and difficult to decipher. Notifications are not sent. The company needs a new sw manager, a sw design review, and a good sw test engineer.

Alright, credit where it's due. The recent update is a big improvement. The UI is more polished, and it seems to work well. That being said, it's still missing an essential feature: a notification when my car stops drawing power. I want I to be alerted when the charging is complete. The old JuiceNet app had this feature and it was great. But this Enel X Way app only notifies you when the car is physically *unplugged* from the charger, which is kind of pointless.
