“Screen ON” can prevent the smartphone from automatically turning off the screen in various ways.
You can control the smartphone screen off and on. ( keep screen on )

If you are uncomfortable with screen off with your smartphone, you can prevent it from turning off.
You can keep the screen on your smartphone on. Use your smartphone depending on the situation without screen sleep (Auto Sleep).
It can be used simultaneously with the sleep mode reservation (timeout setting) on ​​the screen of the smartphone preferences.
It is further complemented by the feature Keep screen on (screen does not turn off while charging) in the Android Developer options in your smartphone settings.
You can stay screen on ( without Lock screen).
You can set the power saving mode and auto sleep by using the display setting shortcut.

Update as of 11/25/25: Dev team listened to feedback and implemented changes to have the option to hide the initial message bar and keep the app from terminating. Changed review from 3 to 5 stars! (Previous review: App was great before the latest update. Now I have to minimize it, which just adds extra steps. it wouldn't be a problem if I only had to do it once, but now the app times out after a certain amount of time with no way to disable the timeout (another change from the update))

Brilliant. Have been using a Trail App for mountain bikes and this silly phone turns off after max 10 minutes with no other way to keep it on. This app keeps the phone screen on so I don't have to keep stopping to turn it back on to see my trail map. Good stuff.

I used this app for years with no issues and suddenly they changed the app to require a stupid Bar to be on screen as an overlay. The App now requires permissions to display ontop of all other apps so that it can display this completely ridiculous black bar with 4 icons on it. And they give an option on the bar to hide it, but as soon as you hide the bar the app no longer functions anymore and your screen shuts off. Literally one of the stupidest design choices I have ever seen a Developer make
