I wanted to make my own physical flash cards to learn hiragana and katakana and this did that for me and more! I'm successful learning the basics and gaining confidence in what each character sounds like so I can start/begin my Japanese learning journey. There is so much available for free and the paid options are such a great deal it might as well be free. The only thing I wish this app would include would be a speaking segment. Other than that, it is perfect for what I need. Thank you so much!

Simple and amazing app! Used the free version for a while then upgraded to paid version, well worth it. Have been using it for a few months, great app for learning Japanese. Suggestions / Additional features; auto play word card time interval can be manually entered? Using it for dictation, 4s is too short. Also for exams, a way to see previous wrong answers will be great too.

I like the Apo so far. But I want to suggest some things; I think it would be really nice to see more information about how good or bad you know a vocab. Also a function to train the ones you don't know very well would be appreciated, as well as a feature to add all words/components to the familiar/marked list with one klick. Furthermore, showing the stroke order and direction for Kanji could be helpful. Generally speaking I really like the App, especially for learning Hiragana/Katakana :)
