About this app

Roth is an e-bike GPS tracker for electric bicycle riders. Record your rides, see your route and stats, and stay connected with riding groups.

TRACK YOUR E-BIKE RIDES
Record distance, moving time, average speed, maximum speed, and elevation with your phone's GPS. Pause, resume, and finish your ride, then review the route you recorded.

SEE YOUR RIDING HISTORY
Keep your saved rides, mileage, and personal heatmap in one place. Review your e-bike activity separately from regular bike rides.

SHARE ROUTES AND PHOTOS
Publish a route snapshot to your ride feed and add your own photos. Set a default audience for future rides in your account settings.

FIND YOUR RIDING GROUP
Create or join local groups for electric-bike riders and cycling friends. Share updates in group chat and keep conversations, members, and competitions together.

ENJOY FRIENDLY CHALLENGES
Compete on total distance, number of rides, riding days, longest ride, or moving time. Group organizers choose whether e-bike rides, regular bike rides, or both are eligible. Qualifying saved rides update the standings automatically.

KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR PRIVACY
Choose whether to hide the start and end areas of your published route and how much to hide. Report or block unwanted interactions, export your account data, or delete your account in the app.

Recording uses your phone's GPS; no connection to your bike's motor or display is required. Regular bike rides are supported too. Very short or invalid recordings cannot publish or count toward competitions.

Roth Activity Tracker is not an emergency, medical, or turn-by-turn navigation service. GPS accuracy depends on your device and surroundings. Follow local access rules and traffic laws, and use the app only when safe.

What’s new

Choose how you record: background location is now optional, with clearer permission setup and a skip option. Record with Roth open, or enable background recording to continue with your screen locked. This update also improves ride pausing, resuming, and recovery when location permissions change.
