I am loving this app. The narration is fabulous and I love that I can listen to my rough drafts for my new book with a full cast of characters. I have been using it to read ebooks when I am in the car. I don't have to interrupt the story because I need to drive. I love this better than dramatized versions of audio books because I just want to hear the words that the author wrote. I love that I can switch back and forth between the ebook, paperbook, and this narrated version as needed.

I'm currently on the 3-day free trial. The voice choices are OK but can be kind of flat-toned at times. I wish you could chose the sex of the narrator. Some words are pronounced oddly, with ephasis on the wrong syllables. I use Kindle for most of my reading & the one book I've uploaded was transferred seamlessly. I have several books that aren't available in audio format, so this does make it possible to get that. I'm just not sure it's worth the cost.

Read the reviews before buying this. 1) Fewer than 20% of the books in my Kindle library will download into this app. 2) The speech pattern is very unnatural and flat, and sounds robotic. 3) The reader is very clunky and mispronounces many words. 4) Occasionally it doesn't know how to pronounce a word so it just spells it. Until I figured this out it was confusing. I wish I could cancel my purchasel and get my money back.
