About this game

Five years ago, Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson escaped the haze of Los Santos, San Andreas...a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs, and corruption. Now, it's the early 90s. CJ’s got to go home - his mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart, and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of cops frame him for homicide, forcing CJ on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets in the next iteration of the series that changed everything.

It performs great on my standard S23. I wouldn't recommend buying it if you have a low-mid range device unless they find a way to optimize it more. I still suggest buying a PS2/Xbox or PC version for a more genuine experience. Alternatively it looks sort of decent on switch with downgraded lighting and resolution, but it's more broken and doesn't have the classic lighting settings (as of yet)

All in all, it runs smooth, it's very playable, and it works with backbone one, so that's great. My only real complaint is that, without a controller, you can't honk your horn, there's no button for it available in on screen controls. This might seem like a weird complaint, but my favorite thing ti do in SA is run firefighter and paramedic missions, which just don't feel right without the sirens

Wow! I'm a kind of person who hates change, and I've played hundreds of hours of OG San Andreas, I beat the game storyline probably 6 times now. I actually just finished another playthrough recently. I'd been playing it for the past 3 days when I saw this. I heard about this version, I was put off at first because of all the bad things I heard about it. I figured it would just be one of those bad remakes. But no! Actually! This is fantastic, I love it! Playing on a Galaxy S23 ultra, no issues.
