About this app

IMPORTANT: This app requires "always allow" permissions enabled on your device. It uses your exact location to send you custom tornado alerts tailored to your specific GPS coordinates. If you select any other option, the app will not work as designed, and you will not receive these life-saving alerts. This does not affect your privacy or any other data, strictly needed to warn you of storms approaching. -AT

ATsWeatherToGo is still free to all users thanks to support via fan subscriptions and donations. If you enjoy the app and my services, please consider a small contribution here: AaronTuttleWeather.com/donate-and-support-options/

6 Reasons why you should try the ‘ATsWeatherToGo’ mobile weather app:

1. It’s completely FREE!
2. Shows premium weather data (including lightning) that other apps charge for.
3. Predicts tornadoes before they develop, giving you up to an extra 20 minutes to find shelter.
4. Allows you to enter 16 custom locations for alerts: home, schools, work, grandparents, etc.
5. Covers all seasons and works all across the United States with limited International data.
6. Built by a Meteorologist with your safety in mind.

Informative but yes ads. Being new to Nebraska we had a horrible storm that freaked me out. I appreciate all of the info this app provides. The ads can get annoying (yes there's more than 3, I checked) but this is a free app otherwise and it has to make money somehow. I'd gladly pay for an add free version though or even a minimalistic one as when you're panicking during bad weather the last thing you want to do is accidentally click an add.

Hi Li Lo, Google sets the frequency capping: Limits the number of times ads are shown to the same person per minute, per hour, or per day. My settings: ATsWeatherToGo - Show no more than 3 impressions per user per 24 hours. So it's not possible you are seeing more, Google won't allow it. That said, thank you for the review and using the app! -AT

I love this app for storm notifications. Because of all of the negative feedback about the latest update with the notifications no longer working, app crashing, malware in ads etc... I decided not to update. It has always worked great so why risk it? This evening I received a notification that if I don't update by midnight the app will no longer work. So I guess that I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't.

Have relocated to Deep East Texas. All the Shreveport stations say they have the best weather app. NOT SO! This app is the best. Running side by side, radar has the same feed, but AT has more info. I do miss the satellite display in the map. The other updates are great. Thanks for all you do to keep us safe. Deborah AT, satellite map view, as in seeing buildings and such rather than the drawn map with roads and bodies of water.

Hi Deborah, great to hear! The satellite data is still there. Top right map layer icon, pick the data tab to change it. -AT Follow up: Oh I got you! Yes, that map wouldn't play nice with roadways and radar data. =)

What’s new

New update with new features. Fixed issue of noise loss, alerts missing in push notification list, and delayed arrival.
