This application is a quick and easy-to-use tool for assessment of acute pain in cats based on changes in facial expressions. This tool underwent rigorous scientific validation and it was shown to be valid and reliable for the evaluation of pain in cats with different medical and surgical conditions, using both image- or real-time evaluation.

The Feline Grimace Scale App teaches users about this tool and facilitates real-time pain scoring in cats. It has several drawings and images to facilitate learning, including a practice session. This App can be used by any person.

Catching my cat still and not engaged while he's awake is the only difficult part, lol. It's hard to get a read on him when he's always into everything, so I started taking pics of him on the rare occasion I catch him daydreaming. Add a pic & send a pic never gives any indication it worked tho. Other than that, I think it's a splendid app, and the FGS itself is such a helpful tool that a lot of brilliant ppl obviously put a lot of hard work into. TY! =^ ^=

Hi, I noticed that you updated the logo app. Now it's kind of off-center :(. Can you guys fix it, please?

Cat welfare- this is going to help you interpret what's happening. Easy to use, and fairly well set out. Local vet reccommended checking out this app, & it's been very useful. In addition to the assessment section, there's a basic learning guide. There is writing, of course, but because the scale is guided by comparing pictures, some may find it easier to use.
