About this app

Android application to turn Android device into wireless speaker (Also works with USB tethering and WiFi HotSpot)
Servers can be downloaded from https://wifiaudio.in

New Features in
Windows Server :-
1) Auto start at system boot
2) Auto discover mobile device (Needs firewall exception for port 32000 in Windows Firewall)
3) Remember last used IP address and auto start audio transmission if IP address is stored.
Linux Server :-
1) Auto discover mobile device
2) Movie mode for audio video sync.

How it works:
Download Windows or Linux executable on your machine depending on the OS
a) Run WiFi Audio Android App, you will see IP address of mobile device
after that run Windows/Linux application and put mobile device's IP address in the IP address field and then press start on PC application. Now all audio coming out from PC will be send to mobile device and you will hear audio on mobile device.
b) This version also supports auto-discover feature, that will work in following conditions
1) Users has to allow incoming packets from port 32000 on the PC, For Windows user has to add exception for either application executable or for port 32000. On Linux following command will add exception for port 32000
iptables -I INPUT -p udp --dport 32000 -j ACCEPT or users can use firewalld to add exception permanently.
(Note: to execute iptables command root permission is required on Linux)

Requirements:
Windows Vista or above
Linux PC with Pulse Audio (64bit version only)

For Apple devices use Airspeaker for Android

Works very well with my mobile and laptop. I'd give a Five star 🌟, but the UI looks very basic. There's nothing wrong with the application. You'll have to download a small software for your PC and run the app. There's a forum for downloading the software, just signup for free to be able to download. Works like a charm. Note: It doesn't prevent the inbuilt speakers from playing, this can cause delay, so I use a broken headphone jack to disable audio from laptop and only use the phone speaker.

Much more consistent and easier to use than SoundWire, auto-detection is snappy, latency is amazingly low, but it lacks a lot of options. Namely, selecting a sound source (I'd like to use it with Voicemeeter) and detailed audio stream properties. All in all, a great little app if you find yourself lacking speakers and don't need to cutomize the audio stream.

unable to trust the EXE with my machine. first they hide it and force u to subsribe to some whatever forum, couldn't sign in cuz only gmail allowed, thats weird and really unnecessary. When i finally jump through all those hoopes and risk my personal email and identity to get the EXE and scan it it just looks suspicious and is obfuscated, ... sorry too much for me. i rather keep soundwire for now even if it's annoying and is forcing me to pay, at least they're real and have something to lose...
