Great to upload PICs. If you have a MY Cloud Home and you can't find it on your computer. Then it's useless. WD use to have a DISCOVERY APP worked great but they stopped the app. NOW you need to search and search to find a solution. change network settings 2-3 times test. Still no luck. I've got 8TB of data on a drive, it sits useless. WD DIGITAL is no help at all. WD want you to change all these settings WHY? All I did was buy a new it should be easy not so hard.

Unfortunately, this app and the My Home Cloud unit have stopped working completely, and this has prevented me from accessing my files, crippling my business - it all seems to be useless. No one is able to help me when I call technical support; a great idea total access and control of my data from virtually anywhere and everywhere has turned into an enormous nightmare. This is so terrible. 3-20-25 While I was able to get some technical help recently, it could have been much better as I was moving

The point of a drive like this is to 1. Automatically back up files, which it does not do most of the time 2. Allow user access to files throughout multiple devices, which is extremely limited Improvements I would like to see 1. Flawless interaction with all file types. If I make changes to a file, it should save automatically. 2. Allow photos to be printed directly from the app 3. Should act more like a hard drive, less like software, especially when accessing from a laptop.
