About this app

Findroid is a third-party Android application for Jellyfin that provides a native user interface to browse and play movies and series.

To use this app you must have a Jellyfin server.

You can also download movies and TV shows for offline playback while on the road.
And with the built-in mpv player you are sure that all media formats will play correctly including styled SSA/ASS subtitles.

Nice App! I LOVE that it gives me one feature that the official app (and Plex) won't give me (for free) - downloads!! I use it all the time. The only thing it doesn't do is stream audiobooks which the official app can do. What is odd is I have a collection in the books section that is all .mp3 files, which my device can play. A small price to pay to allow downloads. Look forward to future features :)

The feature to download media to local device works extremely well, I've been using this app for years and I continue to use it regularly. I wish it had support for other library types besides media and shows, specifically - music videos. I am also a Plex Lifetime Pass member but their mobile app is not great and I prefer using Findroid to connect to my Jellyfin server while on mobile.

An excellent app with a glaring omission I love this app so much. The UI is faster, prettier and more responsive. It clearly has an enormous amount of love put into it, and I wish I could use it. Unfortunately, it doesn't yet support quality selection, and so tries to stream at a quality that is greater than my home network is capable of uploading when I am travelling.
