EDIT: upon reinstalling the app, it loaded correctly after it attempted reloading a couple of times by itself (which is what it did last time, but failed/crashed). now to review the actual product, i've generally enjoyed it, but i'm disappointed with the limit on how long inactive chats last. i didn't expect to lose any, but i did, which is sad. i personally think they should last for at least 30 days (a month) for free members, rather than just 7 days (a week) as another review suggests

That doesn't sound right. Could you share more details about the issue? Are you receiving any specific error messages when trying to run Lumo? Generally seems pretty good, and it appears that the team is making quick improvements. However the weekly prompt limit on the free tier isn't very generous. It would be great if there were additional tiers for existing proton subscribers to further try it, before adding another subscription... especially with other free semi-private options like duck.ai that don't appear to impose any limits.

Functional but many glitches after only 10mins of usage. In the middle of the AI answering, suddenly answer is all erased and the screen says "Something went wrong. Your request didn't go through or couldnt be completed. try sending it again". Happened 4X in 10mins. Then ofc the fact that I can't upload JPG pics is annoying. apparently I have to change format to PDF first. what a hassle. Even Gpt free accounts allows seamless jpg uploads. I like the trajectory, just needs SO many improvements

Sorry to hear that. Lumo’s capabilities are currently focused on text-based files, although we’re working on the ability to upload and analyze more file types such as photos. On another note, we're aware of the error message you've mentioned, and our team is working on a potential fix. Make sure to keep the app up-to-date for any improvements.
