About this app

The AURESIA app supports the AURESIA study from Dr. Evan Jordan’s research lab.

This AURESIA study is all about figuring out how different stress factors in cities and rural areas affect the development of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). The main goals are to:
1. Identify stress factors linked to ADRD.
2. Understand how these stress factors contribute to health differences between people living in cities and those in rural areas.

Participants will use the AURESIA app for two weeks to report stress factors while wearing a smartwatch to track their activity, heart rate, and sleep. The app will also track their location. The AURESIA app is a tool for collecting real-time data on stress factors. Key features include:
1. GPS Tracking: Tracks participants’ location every minute.
2. Self-Reports: Participants can report stress factors, including descriptions, severity, coping responses, and photos.
