Edit: app doesn't allow me to switch inputs easily, please fix! Worked immediately, thank you! The only thing is that it doesn't have the EXACT remote that came with the TV, so I have to turn it on manually and go from there, but otherwise the app is great. The physical remote got lost somewhere in the depths of the couch, so it came in clutch for us at home 👍🏼

a lifesaver within the first few seconds of downloading. I have a used lg smart TV but my remote is basically just a simple universal remote so if misses a lot of features plus I have a remote activated light in my room that, for some reason, gets triggered anytime I press a button. maybe I want to have a video or music playing while I'm asleep. I press the settings button to lower the TV backlight: BLAM! LET THERE BE LIGHT! same happens with half of the other buttons on the remote. app fixed it

A bit tricky to understand at first, but it works well, except for the options that don't work at all... that may be a tv limited thing though. I use it when my wife hogs the remote and then reads her phone instead of watching the TV.
