About this app

Do you like cycling and following your heart rate on your phone or computer? This application makes it possible. Heart for Bluetooth will provide your heart rate via Bluetooth from your watch to your phone or bike computer. Until now, this was possible only with a chest strap. Save money for that extra hardware and turn your watch into a heart rate Bluetooth provider.

Installation notes:

This application works only on Wear OS devices, it cannot be installed on Android phones. Use Play Store on your Watch to install it.

How does it work?

Start Heart for Bluetooth on your watch and connect it as an external heart rate sensor to your PC, phone, or bike computer. Your watch will provide the current heart rate via a standardized Bluetooth Low Energy protocol in the same way as any other chest strap would.

Data stored

The only purpose of this application is to provide your current heart rate via Bluetooth to other sports applications of your choice.
This application does not use an internet connection, does not send any data to the cloud, does not track usage statistics, does not provide any data to the author, and does not store your heart rate on the watch.

Tried this on my Wife's Gw6 and it is nice to have the watch broadcast to her wahoo bike computer. Not nice that it doesnt broadcast when the watch screen is off. Even with the display on set in configuration the watch display still goes off and cuts the signal to the bike computer. the second thebdisplay is back on I get HR data.

Works great using Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 heart rate monitor with Zwift! So simple to setup and use. Excellent for this purpose. I have not been able to get this to work with my Garmin 520 Plus yet. The Garmin does not see it in the add sensor screen. Any ideas?

For me on a Google Pixel Watch 2 this worked fine for a connection to Zwift app running on an Apple Silicon Macbook. No complaints there and thank you for providing a facility that Fitbit and Google watch users have asked the respective companies for since 2018 !! You did it and they did not. Meanwhile connection to Garmin Head units DOES NOT WORK. I emailed you. I appreciate randomised address each session is for security. But the Garmin sees but does not connect (as of your ver4.6)

Hi, thanks a lot for your positive feedback! I will contact you via email ASAP. The connection with some device models is failing, but sometimes the steps described in the troubleshooting section of my app help to establish the connection in the end.
