This app is absolutely awesome I have been using this app for years. It works very well and is completely accurate. I have tried others but this one is the one I always go back to. I can tune up even with general back ground noise. With this app it's no longer necessary to own a stand alone guitar Tuner for those who just play around the house.
Old version excellent this sucks The previous version was so awesome! Beautiful high precision interface that wasn't "flighty" . It could tell when a string hit it's pitch and stayed there. It did a great job tuning my 12 string. Beautiful. This version looks like playschool took over. Needle won't stick, tone recognition is just wrong interface blows now. Please bring back previous version. I'll gladly pay!
It simply works great There are different ways to use this. I just turn it on and play any string. It shows the frequency and closest note. Very quick. No need to set which string you're playing as long as you know which note it should be. This is by far the best tuner I've tried and I've tried many including the Martin app and guitar tuna. Many have a skittish meter. This one dampens making it easy to see how out of tune the string is. Some of them have all kinds of add ons that I don't really care about. This is light weight.
Great App, Great Developer Easy, accurate, fast, and looks awesome. With no ads and a great developer (They gave away their new tuner app for free to paid users of their old one!), what's stopping you from buying this already? If you need a tuner, stop looking. Get this one.
Flawed. Well, I don't know if it's my new phone or the app but it just outright doesn't work anymore. Set it to auto, pluck a string, nothing happens. Pluck repeatedly and more aggressively and it wiggles minutely but still ultimately does nothing. Same thing on manual. I used to use this a lot but I guess I'll just use this as an opportunity for some ear training.
Flexible, speedy and easy. Accuracy comes easy with the colour-change frequency read out. Adjusting out to non-standard pitch settings is easy. Responsiveness is good and I particularly like that the readout gives notes in Hertz as well as note-name (A - G) readings. En and Bb would be nice to have but I do like this app and it's update
What's new? Everything! v2.0 is a complete rewrite of the successful, but aging tuner released 7 years ago. It has an updated fundamental detection engine, fancy material design and a few new tricks up its sleeve. Hope you like it.
1. improved fundamental frequency detection,
2. fixed tinting of appcompat radio button selectors.
