That's fraud and very disappointing!!! I made two hotel bookings that have free cancellation but when I cancelled within the same day, they took commission and didn't refund me with the same amount!!! When I contacted them to provide me with a proof of payment receipt for the refunded amount so I can check with my bank, they said they can't give any payment receipt because I booked with a foreign bank card!!! DON'T ACCEPT FOREIGN BANK CARDS IF YOU CAN'T GIVE ANY PAYMENT RECEIPTS!!!

A terrible option to reseve your stay/travel with! I reserved a hostel with them. at night, I discovered that the hostel is full of Cockroaches, shower does not work properly, and the receptionist is rude as hell. I contacted Ostrovok team as I couldn't stay or sleep in the hostel. they asked me for videos/pictures. I sent them all. And then, nothing, in result: I am in the street, with no reservation, no place to go, no refund...
