I've used Notepad for years and love it. It's exactly what it says it is - a simple, bare-bones, notes app. I've transferred it to 3 different phones with no issues and love that I can export my notes. It's simple, quick, and easy to use. I'm assuming an AI voice feature may eventually be added to the app, which will be great for voice notes as long as it doesn't take away from the simplicity of the app. This is one of those apps where simple is better, and it's my go-to for all kinds of notes!

I had to get a new phone and the notepad app I had been using was no longer in the store. I decided on this one because it was one of the few basic free, ad-free, notepad apps that aren't out to collect all your data. For the most part I like the way it works, but a few nice to haves would be to show the date you last edited a note. Also put the note title in a separate field so you don't accidently delete it during editing.

This one gets it right! I just wanted a notepad. A simple text editor. Nothing more. No reminders, no notifications, no pop-ups, no frills, no ads! This one checks all the boxes and gets my highest praise! It's so funny because this is as simple as it gets, but the absence of all the typical "features" is refreshing. Highly recommended. I will be installing this on all my Android devices!
