About this app

REAL, GOOD FOOD FOR ALL

We want food that tastes amazing. Food that is convenient. Food that checks all the right boxes on where it's from, how it’s made and how good it is for you. We want food that fits your philosophy on food, whatever that philosophy is.

Way back in 2009, food like this was hard to find, so we built Modern Market Eatery. It's a place that really does try to do it all. A place that makes "eating well" the highlight of your days rather than a chore. A place that makes making good choices easy. We are kind of a mash up between the farmer’s market, a chef’s table and a fast food restaurant. Hard to describe but you get it after the first bite.

Quality, craft, community and convenience are what matter to us.

First and foremost, the food has to be awesome. Not ok, awesome. That’s why we do all the things we do because it makes our food taste that much better. Scratch-made dressings, hand-kneaded dough, house-marinated meats, hand-juiced beverages… In other words, no corners cut. The quality and craft in every dish is obvious.

We use the best sources we can find. Period. Feels silly to have to even point this out, but it appears to be in stark contrast to most other restaurants, despite what they say. We geek out over every single detail of every source. Have you ever tasted 30 tomatoes to find the right one for a specific recipe? We have.

Of course, we keep chemicals, antibiotics and artificial ingredients out of our food. We have yet to find someone who actually wants to eat that stuff.

Those things are no brainers. If you don’t do those, you shouldn’t be building restaurants. We do it because we eat this food every day and feed it to our families and friends.

We’re committed to “the good” with everything we do. Good food. Good taste. Good for you. Good for everything around you.

It’s simply all good.

Love the food-completely frustrated with the app! It locks up every time I try to use it, won't remember the store I go to all the time, and I sometimes lose my order halfway through. Last time I ordered I added tomatoes, the app glitched, and dropped them off my bowl order. Supposedly, the 7/31 update took care of some of the lagging issues, but it seems to be worse! I tried to order lunch through the app today, opened it at 11:00, was never able to order, and finally gave up at 12:55.

Incredibly laggy and unresponsive. I have to restart the app multiple times to *maybe* be able to place an order. Sometimes my girl and I are driving 20 minutes towards Modern Market and the app never lets her actually place an order during said trip, and we end up placing our order in person. I am a fan of Modern markets food but the app struggles to retrieve information from its server and just fails to load menu pages, preventing an order from being placed. Very frustrating experience l.

A miserable app for a great restaurant. The absolute glut of "back" options makes it easy to accidentally cancel your order when simply trying to get back to the menu. My payment information for the rewards was not saved, this I had to enter the card info again when actually ordering, with one sick caveat: there was no option to use the camera to scan the card when ordering (although there WAS when entering info for their scammy "rewards" program).
