I find that every time that I use your link to revert MyDrive to v16, it updates itself overnight whilst I'm asleep to v20. It said this morning that the Rider 550 was connected, but it was switched off. The problem seems to be that MyDrive is using up loads of battery trying to connect to the satnav, which isn't in use. I also have to delete the phone from the 550 each time I update MyDrive and start again connecting it, which is suboptimal. Only putting MD to deep sleep saves the battery.

Hi Ian, sorry to hear about the issue with the app. Please try to reinstall the app and test. Make sure to restrict background activity on the app- On the smartphone, go to Settings - Battery - App battery management - Select the MyDrive app and locate this feature to turn off. Thanks ^Nikita

Edit - after a reset of the nav, traffic and notifications work as intended. However, the app on my pixel 7a is constantly running in the background, using approx 40-50% of battery in a day with several messages saying the app has stopped working even when I'm not using it, so had to uninstall leaving me with no traffic again Older version doesn't work. App hasn't been updated since January. Is the battery drain going to be fixed or are you just abandoning the app?

This is, sadly, a truly vile piece of software. Unstable beyond belief. I cannot even fathom how it attempts to work it mis-behaves so badly. I turned-on Sync on my new SatNav and eventually had to delete and re-install this App to get the 'MyPlaces' which had synced. However the SatNav itself mis-behaved (not showing the places I had laborious set-up) and so I turned off the Sync. A truly horrid App. TomTom should fix it or admit defeat and withdraw it.
