Possibly the best purchase I've made in a long time and I do mean it. The complaints I see in previous reviews shouldn't make you decide not to get this, your reasoning should be that you are a fan and would like to learn the spells and proper pronunciation. It doesn't go to my TV but I can live with that, it does connect to my speaker for a great sound experience along with the glowing leds based on specific spells. The unboxing with music and led box makes you feel like this is your wand!!!

Got the wand for my daughter this Christmas. Gotta say, it's very cool in idea & in practice to some degree. The app is difficult to use in explaining how to use the wand. For $150 I would expect a better paper, & online manual. Also, very restrictive as far as what it can control in the house. I have a smart house using Google Assistant & a few other products, but the it only works w/ select products. It's too bad, if it had better integration even I'd use it to control my house! Expelliarmus!

I got the wand as a gift, and the app won't connect/pair to it no matter what I do. I've gone through all the troubleshooting options and nothing. Everything the website says to do, I've done, and it won't work. When I pair the wand, it will connect for 2 seconds, then disconnect and nothing. Just an error message and a try again. The app needs to be fixed so it can connect and work with pairing to the wand properly.
