Now this is one sweet game! Expect truly complicated and challenging gameplay, real choices and impact from said choices, and significant opportunities to break the linear framework to varying effect. Bravo, and it was free, the permissions were none, and it is mild in battery...? Edit: still 5 stars, but difficulty is insane - it's almost impossible to win, and I doubt you will beat the first quest in a month of solid play. Masochistic players only. Parts of game disabled.

One of the most accessible renditions of Nethack (the classic Roguelike) that exists. Made for people whom enjoy classic Roguelikes, with new FUN thrown in. Nethack itself isn't for everyone, but if you go in knowing you're playing a deep but ultimately unfair game with a UI as obtuse as MS Excel shortcuts, (Which Pathos's UI greatly improves on, as opposed to the 80's original) you can have a great time.

Great but very hard and unforgiving game. the leaderboards is the only reason i still play. ima make my way to the top and obtain the highest score possible. you can eat anything to gain resistances to everything but you can also starve so having something that doesnt need to eat but can polymorph into something that can is optimal.
