Ratings and reviews

I have been using this app for the past few months to learn Tagalog, primarily because it is the only language app I could find that has a full Tagalog course. While not bad, it takes a lot of time to learn vocabulary without direct translation and grammar rules are very difficult to learn naturally. This app shines for speaking practice in conjunction with online video courses and a dictionary. I would rate 5 stars, but the Audio Companion download feature is currently broken on mobile.

The concept is great. But there was a My Plan feature that added structure and reminders to help keep you motivated and create a routine. That was removed without any real notice. Also, some of the images in the example are far too small. It's still a good app. But better might be out there if you look.

I cannot find anyway to do the lessons in portrait mode on my cell phone. It starts in portrait mode but as soon as I click a lesson it immediately goes into landscape mode. I don't want to always be holding my phone in landscape mode. I should have the choice to be in either mode. There is plenty of room for me to still see in portrait mode.
