Updated: In case you find yourself in the same situation, the trick was removing the device (thermostat) from the app, restart the thermostat, and re-add the device to the app. I'm back!! Worked great for the first 4 months, now cannot connect to the Daikin One Cloud. I've restarted everything, uninstalled & reinstalled the app, reset the password, you name it..

3/26/2024 Daikin One worked flawlessly for about the first two full weeks after it was installed, but for at least three weeks now, it is off- line and can't be used, I've tried many times to reboot and reconnect to the internet, I keep getting a message, " Daikin One app has a bug, you can't use the app, until the Developer updates the app with a bug fix." When is that going to happen? I love controlling the thermostat from my phone, great if you would fix Bug. Thank You, Joe Mutch.

5/2024: 1/The heat pump outside unit won't turn off, the ventilator/fan keeps running even when everything is turned off (app and thermostat shows off). 2/It lacks running time history/graphs, ex. As a user, I want to know how much time in hours it's been running on/off on a daily basis. I want internal (home) temperature graph compared to external (outside), so I have an overview of the efficiency: the home becoming cooler vs heat pump running time vs outside temperature (see Ecobee graphs).
