The ONECTA application can, from any place at any time, control and monitor the status of your heating system and allows you to (*):

Monitor:
- The status of your system:
> Room temperature
> Requested room temperature
> Operation mode
> Fan speed
> Requested domestic hot water tank temperature
- Energy consumption graphs (day, week, month)

Control:
- Operation mode
- Change the requested room temperature
- Change the requested domestic hot water temperature
- Powerful mode (fast heating domestic hot water)

Schedule:
- Schedule the room temperature and operation modes
- Schedule the heating of the domestic hot water tank
- AC Demand control to reduce power consumption during certain moments of the day.
- Enable holiday mode

Voice control:
- Voice control through Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant
- To use these features, you need a smart speaker compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
- You can also use the Amazon voice or Google Assistant apps and use these features on your mobile.
- Supported commands: On/Off, Set/Get room temperature, Increase/Decrease temperature, Set operation mode, …
- Supported languages: English, German, French, Spanish & Italian.
- Extra languages (Google only): Danish, Dutch, Norwegian & Swedish

4 stars because I had trouble connecting my emura to the app. The instructions were showing a different remote and they didn't work as my unit uses buttons on wireless module to connect, but luckily it was already connected to my wifi with the old Daikin app and Onecta found an "unknown air to air heat pump". If I wasn't using the old app before, I wouldn't be able to connect with given instructions and I would give a 1 star rating. As for functionality, for me it's the same as old app...

4 stars because... the only thing i would need would be the possibility to rename the Schedules, ex. Work, Home etc, so that when you go to work, you Activate the schedule you need, so that the AC turns off much earlier in the morning, if you're home, then activate the schedule that turns the AC off later then usual. Overall the app is ok, bow it's snappy, immediatelly when you engage something, it replicates in max.2 seconds fo the AC.

So after upgrade you need register. I want use app only on my local network. With latest update I need register. I suggest use home assistant. I choose Daikin aircondition that for remote control you can do it via home assistant I hope that they keep it like this and not do it any firmware upgrade which need cloud. Till they remove need of Daikin ID use old controller app.
