📊 BATTERY USE
 
Accu​Battery measures the actual battery usage using information from the battery charge controller. Battery usage per app is determined by combining these measurements with information on which app is in the foreground. Android calculates battery usage using pre-baked profiles that device manufacturers provide, like how much power the CPU uses. In practice however, these numbers tend to be highly inaccurate.

More than expected, even with unpaid version. An inordinate amount of battery information giving me better control of my devices. Without the ability to swap batteries, once they go, so does the device. This has given me an extension of my phones and tablets battery life without any noticeable effect on speed. Tweaking the alarm and the occasional shutdown of the app is well worth the effort. Try this one.

After replacing the display on my Note 9 I noticed the damage to the battery I caused was having an effect. I needed an app to see what was going on with my battery. This app helped me track the degradation of the capacity and to decide to change the battery. The new display uses more power than the original and the burn-hole in the end of the battery were too much. It is easy to use and once you play with it a bit you can get some useful data.

After 5 minutes, I upgraded to Pro. Nice slider for choosing the desired charge level. I chose 75%. When charge hits 75%, there's an audio twinkle alert. The twinkle is different than the phone's other notification twinkles. I'd expect Android 14 to have automatic adjustable battery charge limit, without me having to pull out the charge cable. I wouldn't mind if there were a beep when the battery falls below 20%. But Accubattery is simple & works well.
