The previous version of the app had a far better equalizer. This newest version is infuriating as all the frequency band adjustments are tied to each other. Meaning you adjust the 44hz band down, and every band around it goes up completely defeating the purpose of an equalizer. I'll repeat that. You adjust one band and the others don't just stay, they move in response making it impossible to actually tune the sound to your liking.

Hey, really appreciate you taking the time to share that, and I totally get how this behavior can feel frustrating. The way the EQ works now is actually intended, the bands are linked to create smoother overall frequency curves rather than isolated spikes or dips. but we understand that this can make detailed adjustments feel less precise.

App is quick, simple, works great. Status pro x sounds great and the EQ presets are fantastic. The developers seem to have addressed the majority of peoples wishes from previous reviews. I only subtract 1 star because when you go to edit a pre-made EQ it sounds like absolute dogsh>[ (it's bad) I thought that when you adjusted one section of a preset eq that's what it would do. But it turns into a very loud, very muddled mess as soon as you adjust any slider.

STATUS earbuds are appropriately named. The sound, the separation and never before heard details are on a 'status' unparalleled in every other product ever used. Additionally, the custom mixer options provide personal fine-tuning for the best listening experience dependent on the music genre. It is a temptation to wax hyperbolic describing STATUS sound. - dbl
