About this app

Featured by Google Play for Pride
Designed by LGBTQIA+ Therapists
Supporting 50,000+ Queer People Globally

Being queer means carrying things the world hands you: shame you didn't ask for, the loneliness of not being seen, and the quiet work of becoming yourself anyway. Voda is a private space built to help you understand what you're carrying, set it down, and slowly grow into who you're here to be.

Most wellbeing apps offer generic calm. Voda offers something more illuminating - insights distilled from the best LGBTQIA+ psychologists and therapists.

YOUR PERSONALISED 10-DAY PLAN
Get a personalised 10-day plan built for your biggest challenge right now, with practices drawn from approaches like ACT, CFT, CBT, DBT and IFS.

Made for the realities of queer life:
- The weight of minority stress
- Self-worth in unaffirming spaces
- Coming out - at any age or stage
- Navigating transition
- Identity, burnout, and disclosure at work
- Finding your way back after rejection, shame, and isolation

TODAY'S WISDOM
A one-minute insight each morning, written by queer therapists and tailored to you. Feels like a horoscope, but evidence-informed and intersectional.

5-MINUTE DAILY PRACTICES
Open Voda, get one thing you can do in five minutes. For the days you have capacity - and the days you don't.

QUEER MEDITATIONS
Grounding practices voiced by LGBTQIA+ creators. Steady yourself before a hard conversation, soften a triggering moment, come back to your body.

GUIDED JOURNAL
Reflect with prompts and personalised insights that help you see your patterns, understand yourself more deeply, and notice how far you've come.

FREE SELF-CARE RESOURCES
Access 220+ modules on coming out safely, coping with hate speech, and more - including the Trans+ Library, one of the most comprehensive collections of trans+ wellbeing resources anywhere, free to everyone. Whether you're lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, non-binary, intersex, asexual, Two-Spirit, questioning - or anywhere beyond and between - Voda is built for you.

Voda uses industry-standard encryption so your entries stay secure and private. We’ll never sell your data. You own your data, and you can delete it at any time.

Disclaimer: Voda is designed for 18+ users, for everyday mental wellbeing. Voda is not designed to be used in a crisis and is not a replacement for medical treatment. I do recommend this app whether you are part of the community or not.It is a very accessible and easy to use app, I've sad that I have only just found it. But at the same time, sooooo happpppy that I have found it.Please do check it out and have a go with all the exercises. It all does really help in everyday and way too.I feel that it is goooood for a wide age group from 12years to 102 years old. And very flexible and varied and colourful with images and words of wisdom. Thank yoouu God Voda šŸ™

Was okay, they lost me as soon as they asked me to pay. I don't think you should have to pay someone or something to tell you how to be yourself, but otherwise it was a pleasant app overall. I'd watch some ads if it meant I could continue the journey.

Hi Stephen. Thanks for the honest review. Voda+ is about the price of a coffee a month (it helps us pay our small queer team and keep our free resources going). We also chose not to run ads, as a mental health space should feel calm. But cost shouldn't be a barrier, you can apply for a free scholarship at voda.co/scholarships (we approve everyone).

I can't recommend this app enough for LGBTQ neurodivergent people! In a short time, I've learned so much that I've been able to carry with me in daily life. A lot of wellness advice is made for cisgender neurotypical people and this app has made me feel understood in a way that no other wellness app has.

thank you so much for this review! it made our day! building something that feels affirming for LGBTQ+ neurodivergent people makes us really happy (many in our team are neurodivergent too). good news: the badges bug should now be fixed, if you could check whether yours have appeared, that'd be great! thank you - jaron
