Very straightforward to set up and start using! The only hiccup is that some symbol characters aren't allowed in the device passwords. Single quote, quote, colon, and semicolon at least. Understandable, but I had to use a simple password just to get through setup, and then fiddle with the longer password later to figure out what wasn't working.

As of writing this, unable to use the app on a Pixel 8 to do first-time setup for an AD410. Detects the signal coming from the doorbell, get and allow the hotspot connection Android prompt, but after that it just sits and spins endlessly. If you connect directly to the hotspot after hitting the button to find your device, eventually it will let you set a device password and connect to a wireless network, but fails after that point. Disappointing that there's no way to configure this otherwise...

Have had the AD410 video doorbell and a PTZ camera for years and worked fine with the app. However, I has to factory reset doorbell due to strange behavior and I was unable to re-pair it using my current Pixel 6 Pro w/latest OS + patches - same symptoms as other recent user reviews. Spent a good hour to no avail. Decided to load the app on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with ancient Android OS and I was able to pair in 1 minute. Amcrest needs to step up their QA game for the software!
