It is a little clumsy, but does what it needs to do. My cameras do lose connection once in a while, would be nice if there was a feature to alert us when that happens. The app records and plays back the video as needed, but it is a very basic app. Update 1/12/23 The app can't keep me signed in. It loses connection after about 30 seconds of being logged in.

Hello, There is a feature to alert you when it loses connection. Contact us, we definitely need to look into why it's disconnecting: cloudsupport@amcrest.com

There is no way to update your storage plan from the app, but if you go to the URL using a browser the app opens. So you need a PC to update your plan. The reliability is inconsistent, alot of times I get "refresh failed" messages and cant view my cameras. Alot of the video when I try to look back on it is all black and I can't view it. No time stamp on the display. Still records all of the sound even if you turn the mic off. All your conversations in your home will be recorded

Loved the app...until the recent update. So the buttons at the bottom to play and move forward and back on the timeline are covered by the small motion clip images, and I can't get to the buttons. Is there a way to hide those clip images, or is it a bug maybe? I like the new look, but can't get to those buttons to view anywhere on the timeline (can only click on the clips, but need to see anywhere on timeline with continuous recording). Any help would be much appreciated...thanks!

Hello, The clip images are a quick shortcut showing you the closest 3 motion events based on where you have the scrubber (red line on the timeline). They are simply a quick way to show you what happened in a motion event without having to play the event. You don't need to use, but it should help tremendously. Let's discuss: cloudsupport@amcrest.com

What's new

- Better support for pinch zoom
- Fixed playback issues going from continuous recording to event recording
- Fixed bug where optical zoom shows up by default
- Fixed issue with Pause/Play button sync between controls and player
- Fixed issue on some cameras where Play buttons doesn't change state
- Removed carousel with Record Mode set to off
