The app with the cameras including the wifi cameras are great. The only problem is that with the new update on the app. It keeps taking the camera off for no reason so you'll have to go back and pick the camera then it'll show the camera but if you want to see all the cameras it bumps you off so them you'll have to go back and pick the cameras again. It'll be great if they can fix that issue cause these are the best cashers I have ever owned and I already bought 2 sets including 2 WiFi. Thanks
Audio from Android phone to camera does not work. Audio from laptop to camera does work. An option to set a default device to load upon app start would be nice, instead of having to select a device Every time the app is started. In landscape view, it would be nice to be able to use all the same functions as in portrait view. One of the rows of selections is missing in landscape view which includes HD button to select the video feed you are viewing. You then, have to rotate back to portrait, select other feed, then rotate back to landscape. Mainly the Audio from Android to camera bothers me the most. I was looking forward to being able to use this function.
UPDATE: 8-16-17, I guess I spoke too soon. No longer has playback function. Just freezes when trying to playback. Got my hopes up! I hope I can find a better app to use. UPDATE as of 8-15-17: It works great once again! Thank you Amcrest for getting the app back to its working order. It used to work great. Now playback doesn't work at all and for some reason it mismatches the names of the cameras. Only good for LiIVE viewing.
Pretty easy to use. It's my first security cam. I have the proHD 1080p. But I was wondering is there any way to create separate motion detection REGIONS for each preset? For example, I have several presets, but the motion detection regions are all the same which doesn't make any sense. When you move the camera, we should be given the option to automatically make the camera change the region it's focusing it's detection on.
Worked great at first. Now I cannot get tje camera connected even though I succeeded once before. If customer support resolves the issue I'll update this. I see the reviews are teeter on the edge of majority being one star. If you were wise enough to scout the app before purchase I envy you
Do not get this app and do not purchase from this company of incompetent developers. Takes constant work to make sure it's still working as expected, especially after every update which usually breaks something. I use this for motion sensing and recording activity to a server. Stopped recording and turns out that the region setting defaults to no region after entering the setup screen.
