In 1742, a gold figurine imbued with supernatural powers passes into the hands of an explorer by way of a dastardly act. Decades later, the treasure continues to cast a spell over his descendants. Step into the shoes of an 18th-century detective to uncover the dark truth behind a series of strange — and somehow connected — deaths that seem to follow in the idol's wake.

This Netflix edition of the game includes two additional prequel chapters, "The Spider of Lanka" and "The Lemurian Vampire."

No words for how much this game is what I've been looking for. The puzzles are unconventional- there aren't specific 'puzzles' or 'clues' but the entire thing is the puzzle, the clue. It's immersive like no other game of this genre has been for me. Not to mention the fact that the hints are PERFECTLY done. It doesn't feel like failure to get a hint because it truly is just a hint, a slight push in the right direction!!! Agh it's just PERFECT, this is perfect, absolutely perfect.

Just finished the base game, amazing game. Deducting a star for this Android version due to a serious bug - the final level and epilogue are very complex and each require several steps to complete (several separate dockets must be filled out), but after completing only one step (i.e. docket) the game acts as if you have completely solved the level, spoiling the remainder of the steps in the final level, and leading to a premature congratulation in the epilogue. Affects the additional stories too

Exactly the kind of casual mobile game I want to play on the couch while the TV is in use. The game has pixel art style reminiscent of old PC point and click adventure games. The tone is a little dark and mysterious. Works great on a small phone screen. Eerie atmospheric BGM. Gameplay consists of clever mysteries and you deduce what happened by carefully looking over the scene, collective evidence and using logic. Perfect for touch screen control.
