Nordea ID app provides an easy and secure way to authenticate your identity.
With the app you can do your banking regardless of time and place. Begin by installing the app on your mobile device and go through the activation process. You shouldn’t rely on just one copy of the Nordea ID app. If your phone or tablet breaks down or gets lost, you will also lose the Nordea ID app and you will need to go through the activation process again. To avoid this, we recommend that you install the Nordea ID app on more than one mobile device.
With the Nordea ID app you can:
- log in to Nordea services and confirm actions
- confirm online payments in a secure way
- as a personal customer identify yourself in other service providers’ services (only in Finland)
- identify yourself when calling Nordea Customer Service. (only in Finland)
The app can’t be used on rooted mobile devices for security reasons.

I cannot activate the app on another device. I followed the instructions , my old activated app gives the QR code , but the unactivated app on the new device does not allow scanning for activation. There is no option for that. The Only option is to order PIN and activation code again!!! The instructions from the nordea site are not correct. Diappointed....

So, from now on when I want to log into my bank account and/or confirm my identity on government site(s) / make a purchase online from any other device anywhere, where I have no active internet connection on my phone (e.g. abroad) - I won't be able to do it. What a great improvement! Thanks a lot!

Trying to verify my Nordea card on Google wallet. The ID app opens and crashes immediately. Tried countless times. Latest version of app, Android 14. Edit1: UI One 6.1 (latest). Edit2: The Google Wallet verification process can be bypassed on the Nordea Banking App ( not ID app) and confirming there you want to add your card to Google Wallet.
