When connected to a 3G or 4G LTE network, the live video feed from your DVR will be considered streaming data by your phone service provider and will contribute to any data or download limit your phone data plan may have. Ratings and reviews

Disappointed is an understatement. Why will the app not work on Google Pixel phones? It's not compatible. Which is very frustrating for me ever since I changed phones I'm unable to view my cameras remotely because the app is not compatible with my phone. I find this odd as I was originally using a phone that was almost 8 years old and had no problem with the app at all. Now my brand new 2023 Pixel can download the app.

After years not being able to view cameras by app, I finally figured it out! I bought an ANNKE 3k lite dvr recorder! Plug and play with all the N.O. cameras. Even transferred hard drive. New unit formats the drive, has a better interface and app works perfectly within minutes. $69 on amazon. Thanks for abandoning your old customers with outdated apps. Never overpriced N.O. again.

I've had night owl system since 2017, no issues till recently (Sept 3rd) and it's just the app. You Call customer support they tell you outdated system need to go website or email and you get no help at website and they do not respond to emails. Mine says there is a register result error on app but the main system works fine. The last update from app company was 2018 they should be taking care of us and checking their firmware and what nots.

What's new

Our first update of the Fall has arrived! The Night Owl engineers have been living on coffee and fast food so they can eliminate a bug affecting push notifications. Just like you, we do not like bugs! Where ever you may be, please stand and give these guys an ovation. The issue has been fixed.
