Fly Fishing Simulator HD brings sharper graphics, custom flies and all new fishing locations to the highly popular Fly Fishing Simulator This is a first-person, photographic simulation of the sport of fly fishing. This fishing game features:

The app includes fishing on a practice pond, and six sites on one trout river. By registering you can get a second river with six more sites for free.

More rivers are available individually, or through the Complete Package that immediately provides access to all the rivers published so far (more than 200 by the developer) plus the rivers created and published by fans of the simulator.

Ratings and reviews

The graphics are well done and the story lines that go along with each fishing spot are a nice touch. The "guide" gets a bit annoying when he tells you to "set the hook!" after the fish is already on your line. I might turn the guide off. The only other thing with this game is it frequently freezes up... not sure what's causing this? All in it's very well done and the cost to add additional rivers is very reasonable. Whether or not you fly fish now or not, I think you will enjoy it .

This is the best fishing game I have played so far. I love how realistic it looks and the casting dianamic is spot on. The rods, leaders, lures, hatch checking, all awesome! Recommendations: (1) It would be nice when you choose a location (River/Creek etc.) for there to be pictures for each site once they're unlocked. Then you could click on the picture and go straight to the site without having to cycle through. (2) Names above each hatch check would be cool too. Great game! Thanks!

Great app to pass some time. Lots of areas to choose from, and being able to tie your own custom flies is a huge plus! I definitely recommend paying the fee for the complete package......lol, gives you so many spots to fish that it will take a long time to run out, and getting another spot every week is really nice. Lol, a couple of the spots aren't very far from me......next time the developer is out this way I'll have to take him to a couple of my favorite secret spots 😉
