This is Pishtech's classic game of winter fishing:

It's a five day fishing derby with a twist. The forecast for the first day is pretty nice, but it's going to get much, much colder as the days go by. Start each day at the bait shop to get the tackle you need. Catch bluegills, crappie, perch, walleyes and northern pike. At the end of each day you'll collect cash at the weigh-in for the fish you've caught. Be sure to earn enough to pay for a portable shelter and heater or you're not likely to survive. Start with some basic gear and catch some panfish, then work your way up to catching the bigger fish. Once you have the necessities you might get yourself a sonar flasher or even an underwater camera system so you can see what's happening under the ice. Your goal is simple: Survive the tournament, and earn as much money as possible. Other fishermen may offer you some interesting trades out on the lake, but be careful what deals you accept!

The free version is ad-free but some of the equipment in the bait shop requires an in-app purchase to access.

This is one of the best fishing games on the app store by far. Extreamly fun and entertaining. I wish this game could get a massive update where there were more fish species, lures, different lakes, able to choose your location on the lake. So many possibilities for this great game. I do understand that will take a lot of time though. But keep up the great work.

I love this app. Simple and easy to manage but you must use your tricks as a fisherman to catch the fish and they will not just eat anything and it's very good for you thinking about going fishing on a lake. I won't hurt you to try if you're any kind of fisherman. Good time killer and it pays like a fishing tournament. Not real cast just wanted to update and Supply your equipment but it's fair and it's good and you have to use your wits.

I didn't like the fishing games because they weren't easy for new players. This fishing game is easy to learn and awesome to play. First time players log into the derbies and choose equipment from an awesome variety to choose. The game has three days of derby and players can restock/upgrade before next game day. starts. No purchases are required best of all fisherman get paid after each derby then use winnings to upgrade equipment every day.I recommend this game because it's all free fun!
