VIZIO Crave Speakers cannot output audio from TVs/displays or be connected as an additional channel to an existing sound bar or sound system. Additional supported SmartCast or Chromecast-enabled audio products are required (not included) for Multi-Room feature. Streaming different songs to different speakers at the same time is not supported when using a single app running on a single mobile device. To stream a different song to different speakers at the same time, you’ll need to stream from a different app or a separate mobile device.

Dependable. Since the app and the TV communicate through WiFi, I can control the TV when the phone is laying on a table in the kitchen -- the traditional infrared remote control can't do that. The app's menus are more flexible than using the Vizio remote control, too. But, the app doesn't see my TV if the phone is connected through a VPN. And, the ads in the app are Too Prominent, 'specially since I never care to watch the Hip-Culture, Made-For-TV-Dramas they're always pushing.

Our original Vizio remote became difficult to operate - some of the buttons have to be strongly mashed to work now - and this app has been a great substitute. I do wish there were buttons for the popular apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc) like there are on the physical remote, but there is voice input which works wonderfully.

Power routines no longer working: At some point in the past couple of weeks my routines on both Amazon and Google started toggling the power to the TV instead of turning it on and off like they are supposed to. Now my TV turns off when I walk into the room, and turns on when I go to sleep. Not so smart for a smart TV. Update 10/11/24: Not so impressed with the support response either. They are are quicker to suggest that the problem is with Google and Alexa rather than Vizio.
