I don't understand why this is the only tv company that doesn't have recently played shows on demand. Most everyone has on demand within 24-48 hour's of the shows airing even Netflix and Hulu. Also they only have about 20 channels you can watch live away from home. For what they charge per month we should be able to get everything since most wireless carriers offer unlimited data now and hotspots.
Having trouble getting this app to play nice with my Private Internet Access vpn service. Even after setting an exception in the vpn settings to allow this app to circumvent it, I still can't get it to let me watch anything, even though I'm on my home wifi. Emailed developer, we'll see what happens. Otherwise no problems, would probably give it 4 stars...
Thinks Southern California isnt part of the united states. my location data and time zone show up as being in orange county california in every app except this one. This one instead seems to think im in a random country that changes daily, on opposite ends of the world each day. I only am subbed to Spectrums cable tv to watch it on my phone, so this is unacceptable. I didnt pay for cable so that I could be prevented from ever watching it.
This apps is useless. I want to be able to set my DVR to record and it wont let me when I am not home. Which is useless. And the app freezes a lot. The spectrum service in my area is so bad. Can't wait to go to a company that is improving their service.
Updated: After useless support help..reinstall does absolutely nothing but waste time. Issues NEVER change and i am approx 10 ft from crap echo router. Its all about money with all these crap cable companies. We all should cancel subscriptions!! App connectivity just stinks!! And they NEVER fix this damn issue!! I can be 2feet away from crap echo router and the app keeps spinning for reception regardless of the 100% wifi signal!! So annoyed!! Doesnt matter what phone or tablet..app connectivity stinks.
In previous iterations of this app, when searching for a program and tapping on it, there would be options to watch on TV, watch live in app, record, etc. Now when tapping on a searched program, it opens live in the app automatically. This is very inconvenient and frustrating. I would love to see the choices return. App would be five stars if fixed.
