Your details are safe

Add details to your Yoti by scanning a government-approved ID document. We accept passports, driving licences, PASS cards and national ID cards from 200+ countries.

Any details you add to your Yoti are encrypted into unreadable data that only you can unlock. The private encryption key to your data is stored safely on your phone – only you can activate this key and access your details using your PIN, Face ID or Touch ID.

Ratings and reviews

I like it a lot so far, and have long awaited a proper online age verification app. The documents scanner needs a bit of work. Manual snap instead of automatic would be better, as it took me multiple attempts before I was satisfied with the images. I had to correct one item after upload and verify. Face ID went great, but don't do it with glasses on or it won't work. Account security and backup is very good and the Privacy policy (always read it) and in app privacy options are very acceptable.

You need to realize not everybody drives. I do not have a drivers license, but it is a valid and current state ID, but it doesn't pass your document check.. This is a terrible issue that you need to quickly reconcile. I have run into this problem with some other platforms such as Cobinhood, Robinhood and a couple others, and they ALL responded, rectified the issue and APPROVED my ID card within 48 hours. I hope you so the same, or understand you are not reaching a large portion of the general population that would only help to sustain your business as well as failing at your very reason for existing. It's a completely legal, current and accepted form of ID.. get with it and I'll update my review. Otherwise... you are USELESS! Thank you, and please do better.. fast. *Update* I added a star because the support team was at least quick to respond. Though after a couple hours of correspondence, sending screenshots, etc., ... the conclusion was they don't accept a valid state id card yet, because they don't accept a valid state id card yet. ! Doh! If state id's are soon accepted, I will definitely add more stars and give a better review reflecting the usefulness. Currently still useless.

Total waste od time!!! It is meant to verify your age, but all it does is it comes back with the message saying - it can not start camera. WHY? What is the point of making an app that does not work on any browser on any mobile???
