Ratings and reviews

Good way to stay in touch with friends over long distance, or meet new friends with tons of online groups. Edit 2: After redownloading the app, I've noticed it's a lot more responsive. Still a small issue with banner notifications taking you to the right channel for a split second, then immediately putting you in the one you were in when you last closed the app. Still, my experience has improved significantly after a second install.

I've been using Discord since 2018 and I have a few things to say. For starters, the call quality greatly decreases when you call on Discord, even if you have a great mic. Buying Nitro somewhat helps, but not much. The image quality is compressed and can be grainy, but it hasn't been much of an issue lately. My biggest issue is the devs constantly changing the mobile app and throwing out features that people love. It's a decent app and it's all I use to text people really, so it's not that bad.

i've used this app since 2017. it was perfectly functional then. now, everything feels broken on mobile. videos/pictures don't display properly and you have to reopen the app to look at it. when i try adding a file to a message, several popups appear that make it impossible to add a file. the UI has only gotten harder to use, and alienates people who mostly use desktop. previously, mobile resembled the desktop version, which made it much less confusing. now it feels like a different platform.
