I'm extremely unhappy with mercari. All the new fees make any purchase double the price. Not only that, I've always had an issue with the fact that you can't search for certain sellers! I recently did a little test to see something and I am even more disappointed. I had 2 items in the cart (one $20 and the other $30) and when I went to checkout the total came to $84.28. But when I took them out and rang them up separately and added the prices together it was only $74.76. Over 10 dollars extras!!

I use to love this app but recently everything changed. They added crazy fees! I was about to place an order that came to 81 dollars and some change. After taxes, shipping fees and other fees my total was 127 and some change. That's over 46.00 in fees! It's cheaper to buy the products full price. I am a very good customer. I will no longer use this app. I feel bad for the sellers. Just horrible.

I have sold and bought from here. But with the new fees, well it makes me hate it. Harder to sell. Everyone wants it for free since the fees they pay double the item price. And if you want to buy something... well sometimes it's not worth it. You see great deals from people. But mercari makes it outrageous with fees. They literally are punishing the buyer for using their app with all the fees. Which in turn cause less people buying. And sellers finding new places to go.
