A solid, no-frills, contacts/dialer app. Features color customization and very snappy responsiveness! Best of all, it's not like other contact/dialer apps that require you to sign up or sell your contacts list to some website/server, nor subscribe to some exorbitant paid tier service. I kind of wish it had a built-in editor, but other than that, it's great!

I got this app because I'm tired of waiting for a dark theme on the included android apps. I like the theme options and the Smart Contacts looks nice. It does want permission to act as a dialer, though, and that is not what I want. I tried denying the "phone" permission but without it the app wont run. It should be more graceful about just not providing a feature if permission is denied. The link to their privacy policy goes to an empty page. I am a little nervous about what this Smart Contacts will do with my information. I normally pay the fee to remove ads from apps like this, but I have not seen a single ad yet! So far. I am relatively satisfied.

Update: Android 13.. App does not sort by last name anymore..... I had 2 requirements for a contact app. 1. Display all the contact information on one screen. Most contact apps make you scroll or edit the contact to view the address, website, other phone numbers, etc. 2. Ability to search contacts by any field, including notes and addresses. I have the kind of contact in the contact's notes (lawyer, handyman, etc) so the ability to search this way is important to me.
