OG: dislike subscriptions. NEW: Unfortunately the subscription on this app allows you to quick launch an app... and that's it. No specific YT or Netflix screens. I know this may be a Roku restriction but to charge a subscription for the feature is rather unfortunate. Subscriptions for one use apps like this are pretty stupid IMHO. The app works well but it should 1000% be a one-time purchase. Not enough value for a subscription.

Thanks for that feedback. Subscriptions are not required and we have no ads for users of the basic remote functionality.

Probably the least annoying free Roku remote there is. No overly intrusive ads that cover things, start playing video randomly, make you click exit (like some of the other ones.) I don't use the official Roku app, because it always stops working after a short while, until you exit then select the Roku device again. No 3rd party apps seem to have this bug. So, living with unobtrusive advertisements is a small price to pay.

This is one of those apps I should have tried before I buyed. While the concept is excellent, the app itself isn't. It controlled my Roku for 5 minutes then decided for whatever reason that it wouldn't. I got nothing but a constant pop-up that it wouldn't connect to my Roku. About 10% of the time it controls the volume and the rest it just gives that pop-up. Buying this app at this point is a mistake but hopefully it will improve in the future.
