WatchPower is an android mobile monitoring application which can monitor off-grid inverters via Wi-Fi module.

Here are the application uses:
1. Display device status during normal operation.
2. Configure device setting after installation.
3. Notify user when a warning or alarm happened.
4. Allow user record device data history.

can't get it to work for the life of me. Been at it for hours... I think it's just busted? I've hooked up the wifi module and followed all the steps to connect to the app. when it's done, it's just always blank. all data fields are empty. all I can do is configure the wifi module and see my SN. over and over again. tried rebooting at different times, not rebooting at all, connecting to different wifi's, more...

Cannot find: Register button. EDIT: I finally found it!! It is barely visible at the bottom of the page. I'm using a pip 8048 Max inverter. I have read all the reviews and find that they are almost all correct. A few of the reviews are mistaken simply because the UI on this application is so bad. It is very difficult to get this application installed and working. I gave it an extra star because I actually got some information out after a week of trying.

The app is a little clunky but offers a simple way to configure the appliances. I would like to see better reporting and historical data. Daily, weekly, monthly load, solar generation, grid use. A way to compare these stats like month to month or year to year. A field to enter local grid cost to help determine solar savings and see ROI growth. These items could all be tied to the Overview tab. The current app is a great starting point but I think these would really help bring additional value.
