Group apps into folders. Pin apps to the top of your apps list. Hide unwanted and distracting bloatware (available in pro version)

Hide less important notifications
Our filtered notification drawer is unique. Less important notifications don't interrupt you with vibrations or noise. They won't clutter up your notification bar. But you still receive them and they are accessible with a quick swipe.

The Before Launcher app, with your consent, uses Android's Accessibility Service API to enable the double-tap gesture to quickly turn off your device’s screen. Your use of this feature is optional. The accessibility service in Before Launcher is disabled by default. Your consent is required to allow the accessibility service to be used by the Before Launcher and when consent is granted it is only used for the double-tap feature. You can revoke your consent at any time. The feature and the service do not collect or share any data.

NOTE: We would love to hear from you. Our roadmap includes future support for gestures, custom fonts, and more.

Ratings and reviews

Used the launcher for 3 years or so and have loved pretty much everything about it. Just got a Pixel 9 Pro and have been very disappointed. Background images aren't working (it defaults to a blue image) and sometimes when I have it set to a solid color background, it still reverts back to the blue image after a while. Can't wait for this to be fixed because I love it!

I'm loving this so far. I've had it about a month. A great way for me to simplify! Some for my mental health, but also for my fading memory and vision. Made my life easier than I even expected it to. My only complaint is a fairly big one, which is why it's 4 stars. Pretty frequently it does not show the filtered notifications unless I open that app specifically. It seems somewhat hit or miss. But I loved everything else enough for this to be one of 3 apps I've ever paid for in my life.

Love this launcher, bought it to support 👍 One issue I am having - occasionally the built in themes bug out around the status bar and navigation bar and display a different color. I like to hide the status bar and I understand that this feature is in alpha, but just thought I'd give my experience for the dev. The navigation bar (bottom of the screen) is affected too sometimes (for example on the navy blue theme, the nav bar is a darker blue, but only sometimes).
