It works well, IF the store you are shopping in has a strong enough WiFi signal. In fact, the app ONLY works if you connect to the Stop and Shop Guest WiFi, which I find problematic. The recent update has rendered this app useless. There is no longer a checkout button. I spent an hour at the store today doing a huge shop, only to get to self checkout and realize I no longer had the option to actually check out. So 7 bags were unloaded, all the items were rescanned, and reloaded. Fun times!

Utterly miserable to use. I don't know why they took this functionality out of the main Stop & Shop app. There is no clear sign-in button; you need to try adding a coupon before it will prompt you to sign in. And you will need to sign in every time you close and reopen the app. If there is any kind of "remember me" option, it's not clearly visible anywhere. Assuming the Scan-it system is actually functioning at your location, the app works fine. But accessibility and UI navigation sucks.

The app is convenient to use at the store, especially in times of corona where you want to avoid using the SCAN IT! guns in store. However, it does have a few drawbacks. My store is ineligible for SCAN IT! wallet but after finding that out once by trying to set it up in the app, the app still continues to show me prompts for wallet every time. I can't believe this cannot be managed better. Every time I try to add a coupon from the app, it asks me to login. And since I use a password manager, that means switching back and forth between my password manager to get the creds. This gets annoying really quickly. And what's worse, sometimes after I login, all the coupons go away for some reason. I still use the app pretty frequently, but really, there's a lot of room for improvement.
