Ratings and reviews

Armor does a good job offering consumer protection, and it pairs well with a supported Netgear router. There are many toggle switches in the app which layer additional security, but can be annoying if you're like me and pick and choose your own preferences. For example, the app recently started notifying me about adding an additional VPN service. If you don't install the addition service, for whatever reason, the app will continue to advertise to you via the notifications panel.

I would like to know how to temporarily disable the app on my phone. I've force closed it, I've turn every feature off, but it's still running. I've even turned off it's permissions but it's still running. My phone has been severely slow ever since it's been installed. Had to uninstall it because even if you toggle scanning off it still continues to scan my storage and toggles itself back on. Waste of my money.

Theoretically, it's nice that this subscription provides security and VPN service for my router and devices. In practice, this app has always been an annoyance and makes me not want to buy another Netgear or Bitdefender product. I had a high opinion of Netgear until I experienced the Netgear Armor and Orbi apps. Setting up Bitdefender, as part of Netgear Armor, on my devices is particularly annoying, especially Windows.
